Live ruleset
The Live realm, open now. The largest of the three worlds — 7 races, Ertheia among them, and a class road that runs one stage further than anywhere else.
In the game's server list this realm appears as Chronos (UTC-2).
The shape of it
Live is Lineage II as it runs today: the full world, every race the game has, and the deepest class tree of the three realms. Nothing here is a reduced edition of anything.
Chronos is its own realm end to end — its own characters, its own economy, its own clans. The launcher you already have is the launcher you use; you choose the realm at the server list when you sign in.
Including Ertheia, who appear on no other realm here. The roster is read from this realm's own class data, so what the page offers is what the server will create.
One further than Crow or Talking Island. A finished character on Live has been through more thresholds than a finished character anywhere else here.
The realm is live and accepting characters. The Servers menu above reads its state from the server itself rather than from this page.
Counted, not claimed
Read from Chronos’s own datapack and its own start-up log — not from the game client, which carries content for every realm and would overstate this one.
Classes as this realm’s server accepted them at start-up; the rest as distinct entries in its datapack, so something defined across several files is counted once. Crow holds 147 classes and Talking Island 99 on the same count — Live is the largest of the three by a wide margin, and that gap is the whole difference between the rulesets.
Underneath all of it
Every one of the 241 map regions is loaded, none refused. The ground, the walls and the drop from a ledge are all things the server knows about.
Loaded for the Live ruleset with none refused. Terrain height, water and obstacles are live data rather than a flat plane with monsters standing on it.
Monsters walk around a rock instead of through it, and they reach you by a route a person could walk. Pulling, kiting and positioning all behave the way the game intends.
A wall between you and a caster stops the cast. Corners are cover. It is the difference between a world and a backdrop.
Character paths
Every class you can create on Chronos, with the road it leads down. Read from this realm's own class data, so what is drawn here is what the server will make for you.
Soul-forged, and sword-sworn
The Jin Kamael channel soul energy through weapons that change shape mid-fight. Soul-forged soldiers who give up armour for reach and speed, and finish a fight before it becomes one.

Adaptable, and everywhere
Humans hold the widest range of disciplines in the realm. No single strength defines them — which is exactly why a Human can be pointed at almost any role and made to fit it.

Swift, and hard to pin down
Elves fight on movement and precision rather than weight. High evasion, fast recovery, and an old bond with water and wind make them punishing to corner.

All edge, little armour
Followers of Shilen trade safety for output. Dark Elves hit harder and faster than almost anything of comparable level, and pay for it when a fight turns.

Built to still be standing
Orcs carry the deepest health pools and strongest resistances in the world, and their shouts carry a whole party. Slow to fall, slow to stop.

The economy, in person
Dwarves are the realm's craftsmen and collectors. Spoil, craft and trade are theirs alone — a well-played Dwarf shapes the market as much as any raid shapes the world.

Newest of the races, and least like the rest
Ertheia are the youngest people of the world and fight nothing like the older races, trading reach and armour for speed and a close, restless style.

Getting stronger
The numbers below are counted from this realm's own class data — the files its server reads — and not from the game client, which carries content for every realm.
Across seven races — more starting points than either other realm offers, and the only place here you can begin as Ertheia.
Those starting classes branch into 40 full progressions. Two characters of the same race and the same first class can end up nothing alike.
Where Crow and Talking Island finish at four, Live runs to 5. Every stage is a real threshold with new skills behind it.
48,604 items and 14,086 NPCs, against Crow's 26,264 and Talking Island's 16,372. Live is not a bigger version of the same world — it is a different one.
Schedules, rates and the exact availability of content follow the live server and are announced on Discord.
