Legal
Terms of Service.
The rules for using this website, the Lineage Universe launcher, and the Lineage Universe Reborn game server.
1. Who we are, and what this covers
Lineage Universe Reborn is an independent, community-run Lineage II server. These terms cover this website, the Lineage Universe launcher, and the game server itself. By using any of them, you agree to these terms.
We are not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with NCSOFT Corporation. Lineage II is a trademark of NCSOFT Corporation. All game content, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, and old enough to use an online service with player-to-player communication. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- Keep your password private. Nobody from Lineage Universe Reborn will ever ask you for it.
- Give a real email address — it is how we verify your account and how you recover it.
- Do not share, sell, trade, or transfer accounts.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
4. Conduct
This is a shared world, and the rules exist so it stays playable. Do not:
- use bots, macros, automation, or any third-party program that plays for you or gives an unintended advantage;
- exploit bugs rather than reporting them;
- interfere with the server, the launcher, or other players' access to them;
- harass, threaten, or abuse other players or staff;
- impersonate staff, or claim endorsement you do not have;
- advertise other servers or services;
- attempt to gain access to accounts, systems, or data that are not yours.
Enforcement is at our discretion and ranges from a warning to a permanent ban. Serious cases — account theft, real-money fraud, attacks on the service — go straight to a permanent ban.
5. The launcher and game client
The Lineage Universe launcher installs and updates the game files needed to play. Download it only from this website; a copy from anywhere else is not ours and we cannot vouch for it.
You must own the right to use the Lineage II client software you run. Do not modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the game client, and do not use a modified client to connect.
6. Virtual items and in-game property
Characters, items, currency, and progression exist only inside the game. They are licensed to you for use on this server, not sold to you as property. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be changed, removed, or reset as the server is maintained and balanced.
Real-money trading of accounts, characters, items, or currency is prohibited.
7. Purchases
Where purchases are offered, they buy a licence to use virtual items on this server — nothing more. Prices and availability may change.
Refunds: Because virtual items are delivered immediately and cannot be returned, purchases are final and non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where an item was not delivered because of a fault on our side. If something you paid for did not arrive, contact us and we will make it right.
Fraudulent purchases, chargebacks, and payment reversals result in removal of the items and suspension of the account.
8. Availability
This is a community project. The service is provided as-is, without a guarantee of uptime, and may go down for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, including the server itself.
We are not liable for lost progress, lost items, or lost time, to the fullest extent the law allows.
9. Your content
Anything you post through our services — character names, chat, clan names, community posts — remains yours, but you grant us permission to display and moderate it as part of running the service. Do not post anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced through the official Discord and reflected in the effective date above. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms go to the official Discord, which is our only official support channel.
